A Renewed Meaning for Independence Day

It’s difficult to put into words many of the emotions that have overcome a sizeable amount of citizens in America recently, but particularly in this last year. There has been no end to the inflammatory language escaping the frothing mouths of the Mainstream Media as many strong-willed Americans peacefully “call out” to the Government, reminding “them” they work for “We, the people…”

I had originally decided to opt-out of covering the local T.E.A. party on July 4th, but not because I was unbelieving in the purpose…I was afraid of seeing the masses that I had seen while attending the April T.E.A. parties dwindle. It was a mixed-emotions gathering of honest, hardworking Nevadans & their families all coming together behind one theme—the preservation of the America so many of us have had the privilege of growing up in.

I was incredulous to find that a few Lake Tahoe, California citizens were also in attendance.

Young & old alike united behind one purpose; people of all “colors” & walks of life; veterans & individuals who don’t believe in war; political ideologies that the MSM would have you believe can’t stand in the same room let alone find common purpose—Americans, together.
